Well, I drank like that on cup final day. Got in to the Wetherspoons in Liverpool for 11, and by 1.30 I was ‘merry’. I’m lucky in the fact that I seem to get to a certain point, and no matter what I drink, I don’t seem to get any worse.
In fact, there are only two drinks that have ever got me ‘blottoed’, and they were Ouzo- I drank a full bottle…..urgh, mingin, and funnily enough, Vat 69 whisky. I was on it a few years back, when I used to sit in the South Stand, and it took my mates the full 90 mins to stop me from falling about 4 rows forward. Worst I’ve ever been at a match.
I’m not daft. I’ll be sorting myself out before I go near the ground or turnstiles. Thing is, they don’t have ale on at Everton. Or perhaps they did last year? I can’t remember, but I don’t think they did. their Balti Pie won an award, though. :D
