Well I guess your admittance that things are a bit iffy is a step in the right direction as to you realizing that something is amiss ! I don’t quite know where your European Cup reference has come from but it certainly hasn’t come from me ! So the fact that I have been going on the actual games for just under 8 years makes me a relatively new ” Supporter ” but how long have I actually been a ” Fan ” ? This seems to have been overlooked by a few chosen ones on here !!
Ah, but Phil, this is where you and all the other “can’t think anything but black or white” brigade fall down. You see, I do ecognise that we aren’t playing as well as we can at the moment – very poorly, in fact, in the Bolton game – and realise there is a better than even chance we may go down. But I have thought that for the last 6 and a quarter years since I became a fan. You seriosly think that I think this team is good enough to do anything other than struggle every season? Of course it will, because the size and stature of club we are, and probably always wil be, dictates that.
So, it is actually you serial moaners who think we should be tw@tting the likes of Newcastle and Everton every week who are the deluded ones not the “Chosen Few” who continue to understand the club’s position in the scheme of things, recognise its failings, yet prefer to expend our energy offering as much support to the club and team as we can.
Interesting that this sneering, sarcastic label of “Chosen Few” was created by the terminally negative and is levelled at the generally positive ones. A clear sign of an inferiority complex if I ever I saw one, which probably also explains why you are all so negative and miserable all the time ;)

Griff, the hat is staying ! I didn’t use the term ” Chosen few ” and there is nothing wrong with wanting to move up a level, after all Uncle Dave had a dream did he not ! You know I aint a miserable get, far from it, but I do like to vent my spleen on here when I think that something is clearly going wrong and that the side as a whole is regressing before our very eyes. As a paying supporter surly I have a right to air my views !
