Tough fixtures coming up if we can get 6 points out of that month I’d be chuffed bits

Gomez seems to have come on after his spell out of the starting 11 and I am hoping the same can be said for Rodders when he gets another chance.Watson for me doesn’t cut it ! Bob does seem to have changed a few things which for now seem to be working. It has taken a while for the penny to drop but it couldn’t carry on like that could it ! It’s not just Wigan that they seem to dread coming to , it’s the North West in general. This season they’ve had a good tonking at Man U & even lost at Cheatburn.
I agree with Yoss :ohmy: that we have to keep Van Persie quiet but I also worry ,with our new system ,about Walcott. As good as Jones has been at wing back , I wouldn’t like to see him there on Saturday with Walcott in the vicinity.

It’s not just that Standish. Having watched the game back, We did something that we hadn’t, Couldn’t do so far this season. Defended well, Attacked as an army and covered basic positions. I would disagree with what Bruce says when he says ‘We battered Wigan’ I think they had a few reasonable chances and a lot more huff and puff. But we actually went for it towards the end. In fact the whole second half. Nice to see a wave of blue heading towards the opposition goal and flanking back when possession was lost. Arsenal are though of course, A different kettle of fish.
We need a right back in January. I saw Corluka want’s to go out on loan from Spurs. Yes please.
