Reet am a plasterer by trade but lost my drivers license for totting up points last year so had to lay my tools up for a while, i couldn’t find a decent job that i didn’t need a car for for a few months, i was doing a few foreigners and a bit of cash in hand on the sly but i needed a proper job cos i was gettin into bad debt, anyway last month i got on at a factory in westhaughton through that topgear agency thingy, minimum wage but decent overtime rate which is always available, now i have never worked for an agency but i had heard dodgy stories and i just dismissed them thinking “well they would keep you on if you were any good” so i didn’t know what to expect. The recruiters were polish and i couldn’t understand a word they were saying but they promised me at least 8 weeks work then the chance to apply for the job with the company itself. There were about 100 agency lads there about 30 of wich were English, the rest polish, no other ethnic minorities. I did 3 weeks and was doing oreet as its not hard to load artics and do a bit of picking and packing, turned up last Monday 10 to 6 in morning and told to go home allong with 30 other lads,(temporarily layed off but they wont say how long for) guess what nationality the lads that got sent home were and what nationality the lads kept on were.

Brown out, British jobs for British workers my arse!

Mate, I totally sympathise with you.

I work as a professional singer…..yes, that’s right, a singer. Done it for 10 years.I do the pubs, clubs, holiday parks, anywhere really.

Up until last year, it was a good crack. Booked up months ahead, earning very well. Now? No. It’s down to weeks ahead. The reason? Every man and his dog who has once sung on a karaoke whilst bladdered, and who have been layed off from their other jobs, have had the idea “I know, I’ll start gigging”. And the worst bit………

Even the immigrants have hit on it! Yes. The Poles, The Czechs….I’ve seen it for myself. Like everything else, they do shortcuts to suit, with NO P.A.T. Certificates, and NO insurance, both of which are normal by industry standards. And they’ll go almost anywhere nationwide……for less than us British artists. Are these f*ckers paying tax and vat like the rest of us? Are they hell.

Even in Mathew Street, when we played Everton, there were loads of them, Albanians I think, all playing their flutes and sitars.

Every occupation and corner of our society has been touched, and I’ve never known as many people to be out of work, as I do at the moment.

Even the guy who played PC Tony Stamp in ‘The Bill’, Graham Cole, has been finished and reckons in today’s Mirror that he’ll have to sign on.

      How crazy is that?

Two very good posts ,1st post really sympathy with thee its well out off order ive always said charity starts at home but these ruthless pricks in charge dont give 2 fooks . second post i think with us being in recection and credict crunch jobs should go local or british and employers who dont comply with these rules should be fined everly it would help to stop the cheap labour and the wages going lower all the time

                  Hitler had the RIGHT idea………….

No, wait a minute! He wanted to make Germany a better place, for German people. He wanted to rid his country of the problems with immigrants, after a massive recession. He blamed the immigrants, and specifically the Jews for the economic problem. In theory, he was trying to make his country better.

However, it was his METHODS that were so, so, wrong. Systematically murdering 6 million Jews was NOT the answer. He was never going to get away with it. The only way he would have done, was to conquer EVERY single bit of land on this earth. And he was never going to beat both Us and America, and Russia at the same time.

Frighteningly, the Germany of the late 20’s-1930’s was very similar with the economic climate that we currently find ourselves in. Should the BNP ever get in, and I don’t think they will, it could be absolutely crazy and lead to another world conflict.

I think PWU has every right to say what he says about cheap foreign labour putting the UK unemployment figures up.Don’t you think the BNP bit might have been a bit tongue in cheek.

It is this PC drven media shyte , what has upset a lot of people in this country anyone who raises the subject is immediatly branded has a racist ,we are living in a country were you can’t say F.A without some do gooder having a go at you for what you believe in .

Pollitically correct Britain has gone mad,
no wonder our country is being raped and pilleged the way it is, I am not racist, without being queer and looking in a dictionary i think the word racist means to detest or deliberately cause harm to people of a different race, religion, cread or nationality, I have done neither, i don’t actually blame the Poles themselves, I blame the government, wheather you like it or not we have let too many foriegners in, its undeniable, sooner or later the shit will hit the fan, just look at them riots and protests the other week. It is not racist to want the same chance as some foreigner that probably sends there money back home and out of our country. as for the Poles being better workers, that is just a pure myth they are just the same as us, some good workers some lazy 2hats.
I finished my original post with BNP because that is who i shall be voting for, i dont expect everyone to aggree with that and i don’t give a shit if you do or you don’t, I just think something fairly radical needs to be done and no other party has got the balls to do it.
