Theres a shock didnt see that coming !!!!!
Sad to see him go will be a big loss but good luck Vic your going to need it.
Now we defo need another quality player got a funny idea one may be on the way wonder if Bob spends the full 9 million we should get for Vic ??
23 August 2012 at 11:31 pm #91978Minus the 20% we have to give to Crystal Palace.
23 August 2012 at 11:39 pm #91979Finally, What a great deal, Ramis, Kone and Miyachi are virtually free transfers now, Haha thanks Chelsea. Moses is a mug and so are Chelsea. Wave goodbye to your career Victor, See you back at Palace in a few years in the cup.
I would say good luck but the way him and his agent have conducted themselves over the summer doesn’t warrant it. Another big money sale courtesy of the hardest nosed chairman in the land. He never ever get’s done goodpost goodpost

not gone yet, terms/wages still to be agreed……………remember old charlie boy at birmingham!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
23 August 2012 at 11:55 pm #91981Just the timing again though. With Beasajour potentially still out and Mr meaggi not even getting a run out against Chelsea – i just don’t see where the threat is going to come from.
I agree its good business, only if we stay up. The amount of extra money coming available via Sky in the next couple of years would be worth holding on to our best players for.
24 August 2012 at 12:03 am #91982Think its 15% to Palace… And a rumoured 5% of that goes to agent
Still 7.65M for a player with 1 season left on his contract is a good bit of business.
I would rather have him in the squad than not as Miyachi is still unproven but perhaps Crusat will find some good form now Moses is out of the picture?
24 August 2012 at 12:04 am #91983think the lads made a huge mistake, yes he might have a few more quid in the bank but cant see him playing much first team football. good luck anyway, thanks for the 9 mill you’ve been done you cockney mugs :) :)
24 August 2012 at 12:04 am #91984I think we will have someone already lined up to replace Moses before the Southampton game.
24 August 2012 at 12:16 am #91986Matt Phillips would rub it in Southampton’s noses.
There was one particular post on here from a twitter source that said, Miyachi, Ramis and Thomas Ince. 2/3 so far. I wonder…….
Personally i don’t think we will be in the market for another winger.
24 August 2012 at 12:32 am #91987Personally i don’t think we will be in the market for another winger. No – we’ve got loads of them already on here and at times they really get on my…
…Hang on – did you say whinger?
24 August 2012 at 12:45 am #91988OK he’s probably 90% on his way, but we thought Martinez was when Whelan gave Liverpool permission to speak to him. :woohoo:
Would love him to stay another season and improve under Martinez, but training with world class players day in day out should see him come on, even if he’s not getting much pitch time.
Hope Bobby does spend wisely and the two Blackpool lads do look great prospects.
What about gazumping Wet Spam for Jarvis from wolves with a cheeky 10.5m bid. The £9m we get for Moses plus the £1.5m we got for Sammon. :PIt will be interesting to see who the next player will be to be dusted off and polished into a quality player at Wigan Athletic. goodpost
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!24 August 2012 at 1:26 am #91991Just the timing again though. Mr meaggi was in playing for japan 48 hrs before kick off so was unavailable for the Chelski game
24 August 2012 at 1:53 am #91992Fair enough. Hopefully he can hit the ground running like a bullet train.
24 August 2012 at 2:17 am #91995We’ve lost many a better player than Moses before and we have been fine. He is a decent player on his day. His days are few and far between.

The guy is far too hit and miss for me and after his display on Sunday I really can’t see where he’ll get into the Chelsea side. He couldn’t cross a road.
