Barn door springs to mind!
23 December 2012 at 2:13 pm #98491He also seems to have lost the ability to pick a pass. When he first came thought he may not be as good as Moses but he seemed to have an end product which Vic more often than not didn’t.
His hopeless finish and his disgracefully greedy attempt with Stam charging through looks like we’ve managed to coach that out of him !!

Donkeys arse and banjo I always thinkin
He just looks lacking confidence to me
And forwards should be greedy
I think he’ll get it back

Also his work rate to retrieve when not in possession is non exsistent.Lazy ain’t the word he makes berbatov look like he’s done a line.
23 December 2012 at 2:37 pm #98495I see it’s Kone’s turn to cop for it this week! Jordi musn’t have been on the pitch long enough, eh?
23 December 2012 at 3:44 pm #98504Kone is by far our biggest goal threat up front and at least has a few shots. He is always involved in our best link up play and let’s be honest if he was prolific in front of goal he wouldn’t be with us!
23 December 2012 at 4:08 pm #98510I sometimes wonder if people on here live in an alternate reality as I seem to see things completely different to them…

He is one of the best short passers of the ball in the team he constantly receives the ball further back and lays off in a good position so he can advance forward its one the things I have been most impressed with in his time here.
Care to point some of these mislaid passes out or are you as I suspect talking tosh?
I like Gomez but that is a man who has mislaid a lot of passes this season.
OR are you saying that he doesn’t play enough through balls ?
What do you want him to do play a through ball to himself run onto it and score?
Maybe he can save a few penalty’s while he is at it too.

Thinking about, there’s even a case based on recent performances for a man high on confidence and on top of his game to be in the starting 11 (Maloney – bench). Confidence, a wonderful thing in football, needs to be fully exploited. What’s more, he’s deserved the chance.
Did almost manage to earn us a penalty at the death (warranted)
Gomez before Maloney – jeez did I just say that

Agreed, but his decision-making yesterday at one or the other critical moment was not spot-on …costly, in fact (first 15 / R Stam)
23 December 2012 at 4:20 pm #98518So we would bench our biggest goal threat and leading goalscorer weeks before we lose him for 3 weeks? Are you serious? I mean Boselli and Macmanaman would be superb replacements! When either come on you forget they are even on the pitch. I ain’t a Di Santo fan and his scoring record is woeful in this country. However, I don’t see that we have any competition from the bench so the from two (unfortunately) pick themselves.

Of course but he ain’t gonna be prolific like RVP which is why he is at Wigan so don’t be surprised if he misses a couple! Explain who you would play instead of him when he is on the bench?
