There has been a terrific response to the competition we are running to give you the chance to be at Haigh Hall in September for ‘An Evening with Paul Jewell’, hosted by Malcolm Lord.

The closing date for entries is tomorrow night at 11.00 p.m., so if you want to win tickets for this very special evening you need to enter quickly.

Click here for the Haigh Hall we site, remember to quote Cockney Latic when bookingPaul Jewell is arguably the most successful, most popular and respected managers we have ever had, and he also did his bit as a player. In a one off night on the 17th September 2010, Haigh Hall have managed to get Paul to agree to an ‘Evening with Paul Jewell’, compared by Malcolm Lord.

This is the first time Latics fans will have the chance to ask those questions they always wanted answering, go into how he felt playing here and how hard it was to take a little club all the way to the highest echelons of English Football.

Tickets are reasonably priced at £26 for a four course meal and obviously the numbers are limited due the size of the room, but one thing is for certain, it will sell out. For ticket Sales please contact Haigh Hall on 01942 832895 or visit www.haighhall.info, remember to mention you saw it on Cockney Latic and we will be able to run competitions like this again for them, plus if you book a table of ten quoting us, you will get it for £230.

Here on Cockney Latic we have a pair to give away to one lucky person, just by emailing us with the correct answer to this easy question:

Which was Paul Jewell’s final game in Charge at Latics’ as manager?

Email your answers to editor@cockneylatic.co.uk. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and the winner of the tickets will be drawn out at random from the correctly answered emails sent in before the closing date of 11.00 p.m. Friday July 16th 2010.
