Victor Moses is seen as one of the rising young starlets at Wigan Athletic since his move from Palace and we want him to commit to a new improved contract.

The young winger cost us £2.5 million from Crystal Palace and looks set to take a big part in our seventh season in the Premier League.

“We’ve got a few young players with big roles,” said manager Roberto Martinez.

“It’s important we get stability in their careers so they can concentrate on football. Victor is very much in that category.”

“We have said we want to achieve this season and take things further,” added Martinez, whose side avoided relegation to the Championship on the final day of last season.

“I want the players to know where the next targets are individually in their careers.

“Victor only wants to concentrate on football and the level of football he has shown in starting the first three games has been really, really good. It is now time to kick on.”
