In an entertaining match, which looked for a long time like we wouldn’t get that winning goal, Wigan Athletic managed that much needed win that gives a little breathing space between us and the final relegation place.
A superb injury time goal from Hugo Rodallega secured all three points for Latics and in turn sent us seven points clear of the relegation zone with seven games left to play. It was nothing less than we deserved as a very negative Burnley side tried there hardest to break the game up and waste as much time as possible.
