All Wigan Athletic fans are being given an opportunity to get some football back in their lives during the close season as a special event is to be held at the DW Stadium on July 8th 2011.

In association with Wigan Athletic Football Club and Official Supporters Club, Latics United and the family of Wigan Athletic fans sites, “Seventh Heaven” is an event to take place at the South Stand Bar (DW Fitness Suite, DW Stadium), aka the Supporters Club Bar on Friday 8th July, 7.30pm till late, doors 7pm.

The night will one where Wigan Athletic fans can get together to see a host of special guests, interviews with past players, live music, a charity raffle with some great prizes and a comedian to have you in stitches.

It will be a night where we get together to have a sociable celebration of everything Wigan Athletic and in particular our tremendous effort in securing our seventh season in the Premier league. Tickets for the event aren’t a bank buster either, at just £5 you not only get all the afore mentioned goodies, but it will see you have a half time pie and a programme of events.

The Lounge in the South Stand has been the home of the Wigan Athletic Supporters Club since the end of February and is rapidly becoming known as a venue where Latics fans can meet up on match days and special occasions as the club continues to develop that special bond with its supporters.

All the profits from the night will go to the Anthony Ramsdale Appeal and can be bought by ringing the ticket office on 0871 663 552 or online at Numbers for this event are restricted and there are only a limited number of tickets available which may not be available on the night so you are strongly advised to buy in advance.
