The new Wigan Athletic home shirt will be available to buy as of tomorrow, the club have brought forward the launch date which should have been on Wednesday next week.
The official statement reads: Wigan Athletic are excited to announce that the launch date for the 2011-12 home shirt has been brought forward to this weekend.
On Saturday YOU can get your hands on the new strip from the club shop in the Galleries or online at www.wiganathletic.com/shop with Adult short sleeve shirts priced at £39.99 and Junior short sleeve shirts at £29.99.
The club’s Head of Marketing, Commercial and Retail Neil Ryan had this to say on the new launch date:
“Having worked hard with our kit manufacturers MiFit we are delighted to have been able to get the new home shirt on sale earlier than first announced.
“We would have much preferred to set an even earlier date but issues out of our control have prevented that, however we anticipate a fantastic response from our loyal fans who have remained patient and supportive during this time.”
The club shop in the Galleries will be open from 9am on Saturday, so get down early and pick up your brand new 2011/12 Wigan Athletic home shirt and meet Phoenix and Blue, the Team Latics mascots.
