Totally disagree with that VAT, Melchiot was a threat last night. He combines well with N’Zogbia and he came inside beating Taylor about 5 times. He also did some great clearances from Bolton corners. I agree with the fact that he doesnt seem to be a vocal captain but last night he played well in my view. However, i don’t think Boyce did anything with his run in the team and was abit confused when i saw Melchiot leading the team out.
Then we we’ll have to agree to disagree. His distribution is woeful. Combine with N’Zogbia? I can’t recall anything of the sort. Puzzled me why Boyce was dropped. I thought he’d been playing well.
