I thought Robbo was great
I thought Bryan Griffifths was great…….
….but he wouldn’t be fit to carry the kit of our players now.
Point is, we’ve moved on as a club, but I think some fans struggle to either accept or adapt to it. Why? I don’t know. Perhaps it will take some people some getting used to, after watching us play direct football for the past few seasons. Jewell went direct when we got Heskey, Hutchings, at first, tried to get us playing a bit. But we were still direct. Bruce basically knew nothing else, other than tight at the back and look for the early ball.
Our style now is totally different, and people have to accept that. I’m bloody glad it’s different, personally.
