Well done for writing off a player after three games
He obviously divides opinions – there are those who want a team full of headless chickens and those who appreciate a player who has great control, technical ability and passing skills. Those who know a footballer and those who don’t basically. He bagged nearly 20 goals last season from midfield. A little bit slow maybe, dare I say he is in a very similar mould to Martinez himself. It might take him time to adjust but as a former Espanol and Barca youth team player, he will come good.
I wouldn’t be surprised if people off here calling for his head now are voting for him as player of the season in 8 months time. And it wouldn’t be the first time, tons of people screaming for Bruce to get rid of Bramble when we got stuffed 4-0 at home by Villa last October, he then gets voted player of the year.
I apologise in advance for giving a player a chance, it doesn’t seem to be the done thing on here
