I have admittedly only seen him play against Wolves and Man U, but from what I have seen up to now, I can’t say I’m all that impressed.
He is a lightweight, a Championship player at best. Not particularly good at shooting, not powerful enough or accurate enough at passing and very, very slow.
Thoughts?
To be totally honest, apart from Bramble none of them look great. We are now having more players leaving, we are playing a lad who has publically said he wants to go (Scharner) in defence and our forward line is seriously lightweight, apart from Rodallega we have nobody you could call a striker.

Got loads but think I might have taken too much. Had the odd though it is all part of a big master plan to throw all the other teams off then as an under dog we romp home with great wins…

Our team is wonderful, its class. Up front we have the awesome King ready and waiting, midfield the skills and quality like Gomez, to be honest what you want to do is slap a fiver on winning the league. Palacios, Cattermole, Valencia, Heskey, etc wouldnt make our bench were just outstanding. Were about to get better as well, with the signing of Lionel Messi. May not make our starting 11, but be a decent squad player.

life is such a happier place when you a positive slant on it. Plus I wouldn’t want that messi player here. Too greedy. Picks the ball up in his own half does a couple of one two then puts it in the net. Where’s the fun in that, its a team game got to get it passed about in each direction twice before having a pop at goal.

Well done for writing off a player after three games
He obviously divides opinions – there are those who want a team full of headless chickens and those who appreciate a player who has great control, technical ability and passing skills. Those who know a footballer and those who don’t basically.He bagged nearly 20 goals last season from midfield. A little bit slow maybe, dare I say he is in a very similar mould to Martinez himself. It might take him time to adjust but as a former Espanol and Barca youth team player, he will come good.
I wouldn’t be surprised if people off here calling for his head now are voting for him as player of the season in 8 months time. And it wouldn’t be the first time, tons of people screaming for Bruce to get rid of Bramble when we got stuffed 4-0 at home by Villa last October, he then gets voted player of the year.
I apologise in advance for giving a player a chance, it doesn’t seem to be the done thing on here :roll:

I’m all for giving a new player a chance, but some players have it and some don’t.
He doesn’t.
Up to now, Bob’s tactics have been plan A, no plan B.
For a start, I’d drop Gomez, he aint good enough.
