Does it really matter if you want Martinez in or out?
The fans I’m dubious of are those who want to stay in the Premiership at all costs, and by inclination ‘won’t be bothered’, with Latics if we go down.
As a Latics fan I’ve had far, far more highs outside of the Premiership, neither does a game go by when you write off the chance of winning points, as regularly happens in this league.
We should of course fight to stay up, but come August I’ll be looking forward to the new season regardless of the division.
Is right.
If we do go down, I’ll probably go to more away games, as I enjoyed Championship away days. Some good days out, like at Leicester, etc.
