As with what you’ve been told about his proposed move to Celtic because you’ve heard it direct from him or from someone who heard it direct from him, you’ve taken it as the truth whilst dismissing any other stories on the matter & that’s just as flawed a basis for believing something than mine
i only said that hull wanted him to go to celtic,and he refused,that is the same as the media version of events,so how is my version flawed,i didnt claim to know anything about any contract details, the reason i came into this debate is because YOU made a statement about bullard which had no factual basis and i had been party to bullards own version of events.
On the subject of Jimmy Bullard – I liked him at latics but the way he left always left a sour taste in my mouth. However he has always been able to maintain this “I play football for my love of the game & aint a mercenary like so many other footballers” image.
I hope his conduct in the Hull/celtic transfer saga has put that image well & truly to bed.
