This day will forever be known as the day that football regained its soul.

And the world saw that it was a northern soul through and through.

I sang, I clapped, I screamed and I cried like a baby when that whistle blew on 93 minutes.

Thank you Dave Whelan, Roberto Martinez and Prince Harry.

Wigan Athletic is now engraved forever on the FA Cup, just as it as been engraved in the hearts of so many of us for so many years.

I agree we as a family are still hoarse, we also screamed and shouted..and with tears, as also all around us had, made for an emotional/satisfied afternoon.Did it really happen?

          Here here.

I was somewhat deflated yesterday after the results in the league have left us with a moutnain to climb, but this morning I woke up to find myself still pinching myself about Saturday.

Flags are still up on the front of the house; wore my shirt into work across London; daughter taken a flag and pic of Bob/Ben with the cup into her school in Fulham for show and tell.

A wonderful, wonderful moment in the short history of our little club – and for footbally as a whole.

Congratulations to all – the club and fans alike.

So proud of our club. Greatest day in my footballing life.

No matter what happens now this is something nobody can ever take away from us.
