Just thought i would say Hello to you all, im new to the board!
1st Post i thought surely has to be an interesting one!
So……
If you could have a pint with anyone linked with Wigan Athletic past/present and ask them 3 questions , who would it be and what would the questions be ?

I can already predict what some of the answer are going to be (I feel an anti-Martinez thread on the way….)
Mine would be Dave Whelan:
1. Did you honestly really believe Wigan would one day play in the Premier League?
2. What was the real story behind Jimmy Bullard leaving?
3. Can you lend us some money?

i think my 3 questions would have to be Martinez

Heard whilst fishing by any chance?I’ve heard a few versions, and one while Bullard was within earshot.
I only know the one version, told to myself and 3 or 4 others by bullard himself in the Star Inn, Statham, Lymm, Cheshire after a FISHING match at Meadow View fishery, shortly after he had left to go to Fulham.
3 questions to Mr Whelan
1) Has the board accepted that our time as a premier league club has come to an end this being the reason for lack of activity in the transfer market not wanting to burden the club with players on huge wages after relegation?.
2) Has the impending financial fair play scheme had a bearing on how the board have been thinking the club should be run and in which direction to take us?
3) If a real genuine and good offer to buy the club came in from a foreign wealthy investor,would the chairman stick by his statement to keep the club under British ownership?.

1) Will you please rethink your decision not to sack your manager and his pathetically inept coaching staff?
2) How many more embarrassments at the hands of the said man do you expect fans of this once proud club to endure?
3) Will you please stop the manager infesting this squad with crap players as is his bent?
Please Mr Whelan put an end to our constant heartache and put the pride that this club is built on back.
