August is a nightmare start that will hopefully work in our favour, by hitting teams cold…. September looks a bit better in the way of getting some results under the belt.
Roll on July 29th, when it really starts in earnest.
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that

21 June 2018 at 1:12 pm #169745Tough start. Some big clubs, but as they say the bigger they are the harder they fall. If we can get more than half a dozen points in August I’ll be pretty pleased.
21 June 2018 at 2:02 pm #169746Real tough start

Fixtures work great around holidays, so happy days.People saying we’ve a tough start… Its all tough, because its the Championship.

Very true, but as with every division there will be teams that are far stronger than others.
We are basically playing 3 of the predicted top 6 in our opening 4 games. Be like playing Utd, City and Liverpool when you’d rather play Bournemouth, Watford and Palace.
21 June 2018 at 9:56 pm #169753Hopefully the momentum of last season will carry us forward and a few quality signings once the takeover saga is finalised.
Hopefully there is a better transition period than two years ago but at the moment we have a smaller squad than we finished with last season and pre-season is just around the corner.21 June 2018 at 11:10 pm #169754In general, good runs continue (I know we didn’t the other year, but that was due to a number of factors), while teams that are relegated continue losing runs.
So it may be better to get tough games out of the way early on while we are still in positive mood.22 June 2018 at 5:33 am #169764Just glad to be in the mix and really looking forward to the new season. Consolidation will do for Me in what looks like an extremely tough looking league.
22 June 2018 at 10:16 am #169766Its a tough league but weve vgot out of it three times before!!
22 June 2018 at 11:39 pm #169779Its a tough league but weve vgot out of it three times before!!Only once in the right direction though!!!
