This formation should definately work now we have the players to suit. Hugo has proved he can do it both up front and on the wing. N’Zogbia now has a strong partner with Moses and we have a striker who (we think) has what it takes in Moreno.
I would imagine Roberto will rotate positioning on the field during the game with Moses, Hugo and N’Zogbia all comfortable on either wing plus Moses and Hugo can play as a striker or behind the striker.
We now have selection problems with Scharner and McCarthy playing well of late and the likes of Thomas and Scotland who haven’t been. I’d like to see a few fringe players out tonight and hopefully prove their worth to the team.
Bad example then? :D
Lets say Diame and McCarthy have been playing well then because Diame has been one of our better players all season and for me, had his best game at Anfield when he got injured and was out for a few weeks (bit of a set-back).
Scharner is just a versitile addition to our squad in my opinion, I like him BUT he can be poor. He missed a sitter at Blackburn.
The point of my thread was that we now have selection problems, cover and fight for every position AND a team that SHOULD be able to adapt to the formation and tactics we use under the King!

Where has Koumas come from in the last possible formation? Everybody was saying get rid of him not long back, I personally like him and think he can play a part.
