Expect uproar from the Nationals over that crowd and the picture of our South Stand
Almost twice what you got for the all-premiership cup game against Hull – and that wasnt on a Monday night.
No big surprise really. We shouldn’t be looking at other clubs crowds though but it is allways commented on when Latics get the odd shit crowd. Didn’t hear the press mention it much last season when Latics averaged more than the afore mentioned Promoted Burnley or just fell short on the average crowds of Middlesborough or Birmingham.

To be fair at least a couple of the papers seemed to make a point of it.
The “lazy” journalist was probably rubbing his or her hands when adding the picture of the empty stand to complete the match report masterpiece.I know we need to be thick skinned as Latics fans, but I don’t think there is a vendetta against us. It is just boring journalism.
