Yet again flatter to deceive. Another 75 minutes wasted with Mr goalless up front. 80 odd games and 8 goals !!!…But worse is he has a pathetic 1st touch and for his size is a pushover. He cant get his feet off the ground so it’s like playing with 10 men if he starts. Why sign “the fox in the box” Mckay ????.Surely that’s what we needed today to slide one of those across the goal crosses that no one could get a touch to .No it’s not all his fault but he doesn’t make himself a target and Malky must take the blame for persisting with him.We needed goals today and his record speaks for itself.

Fortune ain’t gonna score you a ponful of goals, but what he does is hold the ball up really well and bring others into the game. A fit Leon Clarke today and I reckon we would have won.

IMHO it is unbelievably unfair that you have chosen to single out Fortune for today’s result. It was one of those games that you knew we weren’t gonna score no matter what. Leeds were no better than us, but you have to hold your hands up and appreciate the quality of their goal. Simple one touch football and a brilliant finish from a player in outstanding form.

I feel that a lot of the critism of MAF in the past has been excessive but today I feel he deserves it. I lost count of the number of times after his 1st touch a Leeds player got between him and the ball. But all the blame cannot be put on him. Boyce had a poor game, Perch was lost in midfield, and not one player could head a ball properly.

No he doesn’t hold the ball up at all. He was out fought and dispossessed every time it was played to him.At set pieces he doesn’t make a nuisance of himself and for his size it’s laughable. He never threw himself at any of the crosses that went skimming across the 6 yd box. Easiest days work for most defenders who come up against him.The ball goe’s forward ,he loses it and we start again. We cannot score goals at home.He cannot score either.Do the maths. If he plays then we are a forward down. Why sign McKay then ??? Is he our super sub ? Just keep bringing him on when we have a mountain to climb.I have supported Malky but this obsession with Fortune is making it easier for Rotherham to keep their distance. For god’s sake give him a rest and try something, anything different.A panfull of goals ??? One would do to go with the last league one he scored on the 4th October.Top marksman,1 league goal this season !!!!

Fortune is crap, brings nothing at all to the game in my opinion.

We were wasteful in front of goal today, this game more than any other this season irritated me because with a bit of quality we would have strolled this game.

We should have had a penalty though as it was defo handball, clutching at straws I know!!

So was Fortune crap at Blackpool and Norwich, you set of ficlkle fuckers. Always someone to blame despite there being 11 players on the field. You’ll not mention MAF if we beat Rotherham wiith him In the team FFS.

Fortune needs a strike partner like at Blackpool and like at Norwich. He works his stones off just like McDirty. Problem is the Republican is a winger not striker and we have two strikers out on loan and two on the bench who should have been upfront with Fortune.

So is it Fortunes fault he didn’t have a strike partner today? Course it is, let’s get on his back for McKay not playing Waghorn or Billy Mac up front. The chances missed today didn’t all fall to MAF but still it’s he’s fault we lost.

You’ve just nailed the point there JR. .. The chances never fall to Fortune because he’s never in position to get them. As the main striker that’s his role,a good striker can anticipate a chance, he just stands there hoping.. Not good enough.. I do actually believe we look a better team with him in it by the way.
