4 points off 12th in the league any 3 from 8 teams could go down what a difference a day makes!! could be a very interesting end to the season a point next week would be huge could condem QPR with sunderland sliding and villa playing well I think they will drop into the bottom 3 soon. Very interesting end me thinks
I said in a previous post last week that starting with newcastle we had 5 winnable games coming up. That changed with man city game being rearranged, but that aside we have now won 2 of those games. Win 3 more & were safe methinks.
TBH 35, im taking it 1 game at a time. We have now won 2 of my predicted 5 “winnable” games. 3 more wins should make us ok. QPR will be a massive game & i think we will be up for it as was said by another poster.

With Wembley next stop, there’s something up with any player who isn’t up for it at QPR.
We’ve proved time and again we win the “must win” games; that frightens those around us
We don’t take the easy route though do we, so probably get turned over at QPR then win at City
Villa will beat Liverpool today . Villa have played really well in the last few games . What did the Sunderland board think would happen against united a team 15 points clear at the top of the prem its a mad world
Sunderland didn’t sack O’Neill because they lost to the next champions.
They sacked him because they are rapidly sliding down the league – and they have probably got someone lined up to take over from him. Could it be McLaren?
Sunderland have taken six points off Wigan, but they haven’t won a league game since they beat Wigan in January.
Things are going against Sunderland just now. Manchester United won with a shot deflected into goal by Bramble. Fletcher and Cattermole are out for the rest of the season. It will be hard to arrest their fall.
In contrast, things are generally going Wigan’s way. Players are coming back from injury. The winning goal against Newcastle followed a handball by Figueroa. Bunn was suspended yesterday and the winning goal was scored against Norwich’s third-string goal keeper.
Sunderland are struggling and have a tough run in. They are playing with no confidence and the only way to try and steady ship is to being in a new guy with new ideas and freshen the team up. Good move but Steve Mclaren???? Will he really come in and make a difference there? Di Canio probably would but chairmen don’t like managers managing these days.
Reading I think are gone, QPR need to beat us next week adhere as I would be happy with a draw down there. If they don’t beat us, they are as good as en-route back to the championship. Then Villa, us, Sunderland, Newcastle, Norwich are fighting it out and Norwich are probably the worst team out of the 4 teams but Sunderland have the hardest run in.
