I thought the team played well tonight the defence was great and the attacking was a welcome relief from the previous home games

Real Madrid, were as that one come from ? We are Wigan known previously for what we lack in skill we made up for it in hard graft and a never say die attitude under Martinez we are puppy dogs no fight and no idea.Martinez out :shock:
We may have played relatively well but the problems are still there and have been the last 18 months, still concede stupid goals, mainly down to Figueroa and Thomas every game. But they keep getting picked?
Then failure to convert chances.So what if we played well, it’s a results business. Blackpool get dicked on in most games, but kill teams on the counter and come away with wins. It’s about getting results, just look at the long ball teams, Stoke, Blackburn etc. Grinding results out.
We’ve played well in several games this season and had nothing to show.
Sunderland at home, battered them….draw
Stoke, Bolton, Fulham at home had chances to kill the games off, didn’t…defensive mistakes, lost points.
Newcastle away 2-0 up, cruising. Bobbys tactics, everyone in defence, draw.
Liverpool and Blackburn, played them both off the park, missed chances, a draw and a loss.Decent performance tonight, those clowns from Honduras mess up. Defeat.
18th, 22 points from 24 games. 4 wins all season 2 wins in 13 at home. Not good enough.
Shit tactics, players like Watson, Thomas and Figueroa simply not good enough, keep getting picked.
Moses, Cleverley bench warmed more time then they played, to be behind Thomas on the team sheet, deary me.
Figueroa is possibly the worst Premier League left back ever. It says something when you get excited at the prospect at Gohouri playing there.

Obviousley some posters on here would rather see a team of the football side of Wigan not fighting just to get there agenda of getting Bobby out of the club and sone deranged/alleged supporters want Whelen out

There are a few others…..ever dwindling numbers.
I’ve noticed a waver with Griff, recently. Where once he was leaning towards being ‘pro Martinez’, I think he has come to the conclusion that most of us have, that our manager is clueless.
