Today near enough marks a third of the season gone.
We really need to get 3 points today or else we will be going into the second third with less than 14 points. I find that quite worrying, given that if you base the next 2 thirds on us earning another 11 points in each of them (from today) would only see us finish with 33 points. Surely we’d be struggling to stay up with that?
I’ve done this ‘points average’ working out before and always been pretty much spot on. It’s imperative we start putting some 3 points on the board, before a gap starts forming at the bottom.
What worries me most is our run-in. Bloody hard. I know all games are hard! But we really have to start picking up 3 points rather than 1. Preferably starting from today against West Brom.
Come on lads! It’s time to stand up and be counted. Get clinical and get games won and move up that league a bit.
