thinking of driving to watford junction, leaving car there and getting train to wembley central..£11 return… anybody done this route before?.advice pleaseFrom Orrell take the A577 towards Wigan, there are traffic lights at the Ormskirk Road, Fleet Street junction, there is a pub called the White Swan on this Junction, to the side of this is KMS Newsagents, find a convenient parking spot on the car park behind this shop and proceed to board one of the 4 ‘worbobuses’ that will depart from here at about 9:00am.
Journey without a care in the world for a spot of lunch and a pint in Bicester and arrive at Wembley and enjoy seeing WAFC add yet another chapter to our ever growing History.Relax and let someone else take the strain
Drive to stanmore and get the tube its about four stops to wembley, theres a big car park at the tube station and it used to be either free or £1 all day on saturday, I can’t remember which and the tube will cost you about £7.40 foe a day pass. A day pass is cheaper than a return even though its only about 4 stops.
and i believe there’s a big wetherspoons in stanmoreJust what you need with a 200+ mile drive home.
im driving down and leaving car in leighton buzzard (used to live there) then gettin the train to wembley. it stops at watford junction, if u get the over ground train just get it to wembley central, lb to wembley is 40 mins on train so watford to wembley will be 20ish, im sure there is a car park close to watford train station or a supermarket not been for a few yrs tho.
