Whats that Lincolnlatic on about on Wiganer.net that some of our fans racially abused him ? I dont remember hearing any of that even though I have heard the ES2 black nylon wearing crew being racist in the past ! Maybe they did and if they did then I am ashamed to be associated with the skunk smelling spotty oiks !
Just like to point out that not all ES2 are spotty oiks and are not racist[/quote]
Oh yeah. People like sing and actually try to create an atmosphere in ES2, feel free to join in!
So we complain when the England team doesn’t perform, mainly because of the low number of English players in the Prem, then sign another Carlos Kickaball type. Or Catchaball in his case.

Doesn’t inspire me at all.
He’s been signed as a back-up keeper. I’d be worried if anyone got remotely excited about it at all.

You’d have a point if it wasn’t for the fact our No.1 is English and we have another English keeper who’s been picked for England’s under 19 squad but isn’t yet ready to play in the Premiership.

Yes, and how many other English players have we got in our first team…..We can’t complain about how poor England are when our own team is one of the worst for playing dodgy foreign imports
Bolton manager Owen Coyle is adamant that Oman international goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi’s loan move to Wigan will not become permanent.
Al-Habsi joined the Trotters from Lyn Oslo in 2006 but has made only 10 appearances in four years due to the form of Jussi Jaaskelainen at the Reebok Stadium.
Now 28, and contracted to Bolton until 2013, he was keen to get first-team football and jumped at the chance to join Wigan when offered a loan move.
However, Coyle insists Al-Habsi will only be away for one season as he is still an important member of his squad in the long term.
“It’s an opportunity for Ali to gain some first team experience with an established Premier League side,” he said. “Ali is a terrific lad and a loyal servant to Bolton Wanderers.
“We had a chat and felt this was a chance for him to get some games under his belt.
“Jussi Jaaskelainen is our number one and Ali has found himself behind one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.
“This season-long loan means he will come back to us stronger.”
Well Kirkland might not make the start of the season from what I’ve heard, so what do you reckon: Give the new boy a start or do we get Pollitt out there?
I wouldn’t mind seeing Al-Habsi have a go, Blackpool shouldn’t be too hard a challenge to get him settled in.
