forgive the pun – but he was a Rock today – he is the reason why we are not leaking goals anymore (he was part of the star team at the end of last season). he is the difference – and combined with Scharner we actually look like we can defend. I do like Caldwell as a leader, but he ain’t quiet there for the premier league.

Reckon he’s lost a bit of weight as well since last season (shame I haven’t :blush: )
Like having a new signing at this stage of the season.
Antolin was super today as he read the game and pulled team out the mess quite a few times. He is a super guy who took time to have a chat a few months ago in b & q and was such a star no heirs and bling bling he spoke with a real passion to get back into team and keep team in premier he was a credit to latics.
Yip we are a better team with him in it.was never in doubt (best all round central defender we got by far)
of all the players out of contract at the end of this season, he has to be the one we try and keep! with Ramiz, alcaraz and golobart in the center we should be solid.
