Reading between the lines, looks like his brother and Budgie will be angling for him to go to Villa. We need to agree a fee with Notlob quick before Villa sort out their managerial mess.

I’m glad it’s getting resolved so quickly. Let’s hope that he has another cracking season between the sticks for us — seems like he’d be happy to stay especially since we can promise first-team football.

Im not sure i would be held to ransom by a skint Bolton. 3 million sounds about right but any more and they are getting carried away. Petr Cech was 7 and Pepe Reina 6 million. How can they suggest their third choice keeper (almost aged 30) who has made 10 first team appearances in six years is worth 5 million?

I really hope we get him but i wouldnt have the p*** taken out of us by that lot!

He’s signed a 3 year deal with Bolton, very low key but it’s been done last week.

His contract would have expired in January so they don’t want him going on a free … but 3 years? I didn’t expect that!

What i dont understand is why you are passing rumours on as fact? :roll:

See link below. He signed a 4 year deal back in January 2009 which expires January 2013. By my maths that gives Bolton 18 months left on his contract.

Please could you provide proof that he as signed a new 3 year contract with Bolton which runs until June 2014.
