Lets really have a go at Burnley on Sat, beat them we more or less send them down, and lets try Nzogbia on the left and Moses on the right, playing a left footer on the right, and a right footer on the left, is narrowing the pitch too much as both have to continually keep cutting inside, plus others have cottoned on and are constantly doubling up on Nzog and Rod and lets get shut of Thomas this guy has not played a forward ball all season, were we read pre season hes Honduras main man, the guy who wrote it must live in cuckoo land he cant lace Palacios’s clogs, the performance last night tried hard, not much end product, Friedel hardly had a save to make, playing a lone striker, and two holding centre mid players, means theres a 40 yard gap between them, surely we dont need to play that way against Burnley at home, do we , Burnley will have geared up all week at training knowing how we play, lets show an element of surprise and try summat different, like go at them from the off, were too much of a one trick pony, and its not working were in the bottom 6, but we,ll still stay up.

18 March 2010 at 12:51 am #26862Nzogbia is doubtful so one wonders who the 5th man is going to be !!Moreno up front, Rodders back ont wing wi Moses?
18 March 2010 at 12:53 am #26864Moses looked good when he came on, on the left, wasn’t quite as effective when he was switched.
18 March 2010 at 1:00 am #26869Moses in my opinion is akin to Wright-Philips. Good going at a defender and weaving his way through but his final delivery is poor. He needs to settle down a bit and calm down as he is too keen for his own good which impairs his judgment somewhat ! Its down to coaching stuff like that and I dont think we have got a great deal in the technical department come 9AM Monday morning !

For once kid, you’re probably right ;)
18 March 2010 at 1:53 pm #26961Saturday? Win or bust, in my opinion.
Win, and we have a bit of room for 2 defeats, which may well come our way at City, and Fulham.
Lose, and then if we lose those two as well, it could be the time when we drop into the mire.
I am both relishing Saturday and dreading it, in equal measure.
Come on boys!! No room for lapses and daft mistakes on Saturday, go out there and be bloody clinical about the task in hand. It’s a chance for them to show they’ve got the guts for the fight.
18 March 2010 at 3:28 pm #26974Vat69, that’s the way I see it.
Just one question to all, if we are set up on Saturday with one up front, will you be frustrated?
If we again play this system, with either Rodallega, Morino or Scotland on their own up front, who would you choose and why?18 March 2010 at 3:34 pm #26975The players know what to do and I am sure we will deliver this weekend, you know if we do go down this year, no one will say we didnt deserve it.
All we ask is a run of results and we will be safe.

Slip up to Burnley, Portsmouth, and Hull, and we DESERVE to go down.

So if we slip up to them, but put in tremendous performances and beat West Ham, Arsenal and Chelsea, plus get a draws at Fulham and Man City, will we still deserve to go down?18 March 2010 at 6:10 pm #27000If what you say does happen, it will show the players are performing when they want to.
In the same way that it is no good for say Chelsea to beat Man U and then lose to us, it’s no good us beating Chelsea then losing to say Burnley.Games against rivals are most important, as you are not only gaining 3 points, but preventing your rivals gaining 3 points, what they call 6 pointers.
It is pointless us beating Arsenal if on the same day our rivals win. We must beat teams in our so called mini league. Were not doing great in this mini league at the mo, it must improve starting with Saturday or were down. -
