Away from football for a second and can I put the following scenario to you.
Last February a mate of mine asked for my Sky Card number as he wanted to watch a game on his laptop (you are probably all familiar with this Sky service). Not wanting to appear mean I gave it to him as I assumed as he had said it was just an once off. However since then I have discovered he watches Sky Sports on a regular basis with my card number. To be honest I am a bit peeved about it as the guy is earning more than me. I’m very reluctant to bring it up with him (it’s like someone owing you money and they have forgot about it and you feel uneasy about reminding them). Does anyone think he is a bit out of order and what would ye do?
I would tell sky that you think your card has been cloned or something and ask for a replacement. Or you have snapped it etc and see if they will send a replacement. They might even send one first class if they think you are without your service. But i don’t know, Just picking things out of the air really. I don’t have sky.
Just thinkning again, Maybe you could say you had a party at your house and saw a few of your mates messing about with it and you think they took the number because they are rum uns :P :P
Or just go onto the “registered devices” bit on the Sky website (you can only register two PC, laptops, mobiles, ipads etc) to view Sky Go on. Just disable whatever device he is showing up as.

Cheers for this. I went on to Sky website and in the ‘My Account’ section they had a heading ‘Additional Users’. I went in there and spotted one additional user which I have now just removed. I think he will now get the message. If he adds himself back on I will go with what the other boys suggested i.e. get a new card number. If it is still an issue after that I will tell him to f**k off or re-examine his concept of ‘friendship’. Thanks to everyone for the advice.
My so called mate has just cancelled my sky on my laptop, it must have been him because he’s the only one with access to it. What happened was, ages ago I asked him for his sky number, so I could watch the sports on my laptop, each account gets to send sky to loads of different things, like laptops, x box’s etc. Anyway, it was costing him nothing, and he didn’t need it for all the appliances, so I was using it. Then this week, without even a phone call, he cancels it, gutted, if it was the money he was bothered about I’d have gladly give him some towards his bill, but he never even asked, just cancelled it without notice, and I missed aerobics oz style this morning too!!
Should I Have a word with him, or just tell him to fuck off and re-examine his concept of friendship? Really gutted about losing a good episode of aerobics!

I think you are a whinging get. You were quite happy to carry on benefitting from the use of his Sky account and thought if he’s not going to ask me for a contribution then I’m certainly not going to offer one. I think you should contact him and offer to reimburse him for use of the said account.
