Seeing so much on twitter that it wasn’t a penalty. I’m sorry but for me Amos completely bottles it. All he has to do is come out and spread himself and the ball goes comfortably into his midriff. But no, he shits himself and stays back and gives the ref a decision to make.
Plus we aren’t ruthless enough. Preston were dire first half. We needed to punish them and get a second. We didn’t really try and there was no way they were going to be as bad second half
Definitely points lost and I now reckon one win in 14 since Leam sacked
I should add I definitely don’t think it was a penalty, I’m just furious with Amos for shitting out and giving the ref the opportunity to give one
Just got in…..absolute 2nd half shit show. Knob end absolutely dire 1st half but we haven’t got goals in us to put em away. Fletcher works hard but that’s it. 2nd half piss poor…..gifted them a win. Not sure if it was a penalty, but we created nothing. God help us at Burnley!!!…..
Butter it up all you want but Maloney must start planning for league 1. Keane,Fletcher, Lang won’t get us goals…..Power has Zero creativity. Our quality of crossing is as bad as I’ve ever seen. F###### Ibrahimovic would get goals here. What did we actually produce in the 1st half against as poor a side well play ???

McClean – love the guy but he offers nothing but aggro apart from his dead ball corners
Lang – yard to slow at this level. Runs the ball into touch too often and doesn’t have a cross in him
Keane – leads the press well but again needs too much time to get the ball under control
Fletcher – really don’t think he offers anything. Maybe would be better if we actually crossed a decent ball………but I doubt it
Magennis – read Fletcher
Wyke – think we desperately need him fit but season is drifting away from him
Thought , that once AGAIN a referee was weak , totally out of depth. a homer . not sour grapes btw ..Johnson ‘ wins ‘a pen . down like a sack of spuds ,, then . 4 hours later is able to equalise ..feigned ‘ injuries ‘ time wasting etc
So if it was a foul, why was Amos not red carded ?
Johnson was losing control of the ball and toe poked it to the left of Amos then tried to go around his right and made a five course meal of falling over Ben’s right leg then pretending to be injured. The Ref was conned !
Their second goal started from a throw in near their own goal line, that the Ref incorrectly awarded to them and the liner was over half the pitch away.A point would have been fair all around.
Completely the wrong way for Amos to claim the ball. He needs to spread himself and then the ball never goes past him. Instead he practically kneels down which makes him very narrow and easier to pass and con the ref

Burnley’s so far in front, they are vitally guaranteed promotion and it’s possible we benefit from them heavily rotating the squad against us/trying to concentrate on a cup run. Unfortunately, it looks like their schedule sets up as Wednesday FA cup, Sat Blackpool, and then Saturday us, before another game Wednesday. So Blackpool might reap more of that benefit, or maybe we both face Burnley lineups at partial strength. Really, if I’m Burnley, I don’t want to drop points; but, if I do, it might as well be to a bottom club vs a top 10 club.

I watched him today and,
He wins nothing jack sh#t bar a free kick at the death,
Wins fcuk all in the air,

Constantly loses it when the few times he’s in possession,

Can someone please explain to me what the fcuk does our manager see that were missing?. Stick Keane or Lang up there and Sinani on or Aasgaard because if we play Fletcher every game were down.I can go to non league and get a superfit player do what he does, chase things down win fcuk all and burn out. As soon as we made subs we sped up the game play and looked more threatening without threatening.
Something has to change and quickly because today was a golden chance to take all 3 against a poor Preston side.
They came out 2nd half ready to go we looked like we’d had a quick go on a bong and got hit for 2 in the first 12 minutes.What has Magennis done wrong ? I’m lost because although we’re desperately trying to patch up our leaky defense we are fcukin dog sh1te up front.
