Birmingham has to be one of the quietest grounds I have ever been to ! Nigh on 26000 ( About 400 of us ) and there was deathly silence throughout from the home fans apart from cheering when they scored and maybe 2 songs either side of the goal !!
Oh yeah….And another fruitless journey but at least I went I guess !! Not one person I spoke to had a good word to say about Martinez by the way and they are the die hards !!Completely agree with your assessment of St Andrews crowd. Worse than Old Trafford and that’s saying something!

As gregarious as I am I cant talk to everybody ! A hell of a lot of fans were not happy though !You’re right the Brummies were so quiet the “Roberto Martinez” chants could be clearly heard. You say a hell of a lot were not happy but there were a hell of a lot chanting his name, showing support and getting behind the team and manager. Made me right proud it did.

Its just a pity the majority of players didnt react to the support because I am not being funny but that was crap !!
