Heard him compared and spoken as the new Andy Liddle on Saturday. Does anyone agree?
I don’t think he is quite up there with God yet myself.21 October 2014 at 11:45 am #134258Aye. If Andy Liddle had one of his legs amputated! That French President hawking him around must be laughing his cock off!
21 October 2014 at 11:56 am #134259Andy Liddell would struggle if he had the same scraps to feed off as our current forwards. It’s nigh on impossible to pass a proper judgement on any of our forwards at the moment.

That doesn’t esxcuse all his ridiculous fancy flicks and general fannying about. Not seen any evidence he’d be any more prolific if they took away the opposition defence and keeper. Mind you, we might still struggle to get in a decent cross for him.
Oh, and he needs to stop taking all those grotesque selfies and posting them on Twitter. He’d be better off with extra shooting practice.
21 October 2014 at 6:53 pm #134279Maybe if we dumped a few tonnes of sand in each penalty area and he played barefooted it may bring about some improvement! I am at the point where I would accept anything different being tried at this moment in time!

I don’t think he is quite up there with God yet myself. With what I’ve seen so far, he’s not fit to lace Sir Andy’s boots.
Mind you Riera makes Franco Di Santo look like a world beater.Maybe together as a partnership, who knows?

And how do you know what he’s like in front of goal when he gets chance to finish? I can only recall us genuinely creating one half way reasonable chance for him to run on to and that was from a fairly narrow angle that he forced the keeper into a save from.
I agree about all the flicks but you can’t judge his finishing on what’s gone on so far.
