Just thinking about his penalty record and i found out that he NEVER missed a penalty for Wigan.
But i cant his overall Penalty Record.
Has he ever missed a Penalty ?
Not a clue. I just remember he used to always do that pause just before he shot which really wound me up because I was sure, that one time he was gonna muck it up.
At least he never tried chipping it. Hugo could have learned a thing or two from owd Liddell – missed some crucial penalties for us this season.

The way I wrote it makes it sound like Hugo tries to chip it in, but I was referring to the now infamous Kermorgant attempt for Leicester.

That was probably the worst attempt at a penalty I have ever seen. The only thing worse was the three missed penalties in the same game from Martin Palermo.I’ll stand corrected – Mr Garswood might help me out here – but I don’t ever remember Liddell missing a penalty for Latics.
But if asked who I would want to take and score from a penalty to save my life, it would be Andy Liddell.

Nathan Ellington used to give me kittens the way he trickled them into the corner.
He didn’t miss many though.alex cribley hardly ever missed his penalties – in fact, didn’t he finish as 3rd best penalty taker in the whole of the football league back in ’87.
