Depressing again, nothing happening on the pitch. Is it really worth freezing my nuts off for same old dross week after week?

Thought we looked more solid with the formation but never looked like scoring, neither did Wednesday until we bought on that numb nut.

A young lad trying to affect the game makes a rash tackle which costs us. Dont blame Callum, blame the other 10 “numb nuts” for doing precisely the square root of f-all for 70 mins.

Didn’t even to get in to see it. Farce outside at the ticket office meant a queue upwards of a few hundred not getting in until at least half time so even us with season tickets went back up Wigan. Why no east stand ticket office?
If they don’t expect people to turn up at 10 quid a ticket don’t do the promotion.
In all honesty I probably had a better night.
How long can we suffer this dross without a real attacking intention. Ffs give riera and Delort a go you super stubborn prick

Well in my humble opinion McClean is not a striker and neither is Fortuné! Taylor is not a wing back and Kiernan isn’t ready for this level of football! Forshaw looked better tonight and McCann worked his socks off but Watson was poor!
Perhaps he should use the Bolton game to try something different with different players because I think we should maybe concentrate on Championship survival this season! I don’t know what else to say or suggest but tonight on the whole was pretty dire but I am getting used to it now as we haven’t won at home in 4 months!

First half was pretty poor but I think that was more to do with the way Sheffield Wednesday set their stall up. Second half we looked good until macca lost his head again? When will that lad ever learn? So frustrating to lose to crap teams, they did not look like a team that would walk away with three points tonight… Despite some poor performances thought we were unlucky again tonight not to get something from this game.
That said our defensive frailties reared it’s ugly head again tonight. That Taylor is really poor defensively and we should have tried to keep Figueroa.

Why? So we could have two defensively poor left backs? I wouldn’t trust Figueroa to mark a bingo card.

Poor game, two very poor teams however despite the thicko I thought we looked better organised and I thought we deserved a point at least.
Our goal wasn’t off side either- just need to keep hoping at least the window is nearly open and we can wave by by to some of the deadwood.

I agree, playing 1 up front requires width. McClean would be far better been used as an attacking wideman creating space for others.

If we go down then so be it, I’ll still be there but what fooks me off is, we have a squad of over 30 players and the majority will not be given a chance to stop this from happening whether their good enough we will never know.

They’ll all probably get a chance at Bolton when they know a fair few of them won’t be here in Feb or the summer. If it were me I wouldn’t give a flying turd

First half maybe, second half he took the art of becoming anonymous to a totally new level.

Who else can play there? Defensively figs is better than Taylor, he looks nervous on the ball, makes too many mistakes and gets caught out of position a lot.

As does Figueroa. So the only thing he really has on Taylor is that he’s better on the ball. Nothing great for a defender really.

                              Yep that’s Figueroa alright.
