Really really sorry to see that the flying Dutchman Johan Cruyff has died at the meagre age of 68.

Shame. Did he start the step over and quick turn………

What a great player he was and influenced many world class players over the years.
One of the pioneers of football show boating, never frightened of looking an idiot if it went wrong.

The fact that he was a heavy smoker, probably contributed to his early passing away and this should be a warning to other sports people, who think they can train, keep fit and get away with sucking chemicals into their bodies.

He will be sadly missed, but I’m sure clips of his fancy footwork will be shown on TV for ever more.

One of my boyhood heroes Cruyff, i remember when when we first saw the Cruyff turn on TV in the World cup all the kids including myself in the street trying to copy him.

God Bless Johan, a true legend of the beautiful game.

What a fantastic player he was. One of the best ever.

I was privileged to actually see him play live. Far too young.
