It was working as well 3 across the back with 2 wing backs getting up and down until gohouhri walked.

I was obvious to anyone with a modicum of football knowledge that we were being overrun in midfield in the first half and that’s why Martinez changed it to 3-5-2 for the second half. Of course you could argue he should have changed it earlier but that would have meant subjecting Gomez to the now obligatory barrage of abuse which comes his way when he’s subbed.The system was working well until the sending off so I suppose I find myself agreeing with LMB here.
Now where’s my medication!
