I mean with tears of pride.
I keep welling up, thinking about us in the cup final, I have to admit.
It must mean so much more to fans of clubs like us, who don’t get to the final every year or so, than it does to fans of United, Chelsea, and the like.
We’re little Wigan Athletic. A club from a small working-class Northern town. And we’re going to play in the worlds most famous, and revered football match, being watched all over the world.
And when ‘Abide With Me’ is sung, I can honestly say that I think I will be blubbering, it just makes me feel so, so, proud.

I agree mate. It’s totally surreal to think our club is actually going to play in an FA cup final. I am chuffed as a butty, but at the same time, only half thinking about it at the mo. My full attention will be given to it after tomorrow when we pick up 3 more points and are out the relegation zone.
I think going to the final with the pressure off (for the mo) will deffo give the played as well as the fans a huge boost
