…if it is worth investing in a season ticket in order to have a better chance of obtaining away tickets or will the demand from Wigan fans not be that great given we didn’t take that many to most Prem away games?
Are Europa away tickets named, or could it be that current ST holders could buy them for others?
30 August 2013 at 3:11 pm #120146I’d imagine that the club will prioritise selling tickets much like they do normally & did for the Wembley games
Difficult to know what the demand will be from Latics fans till they go on sale I guess30 August 2013 at 4:43 pm #120161Doesn’t look there’s going to be much demand based on that gash draw eh?

I wouldn’t have thought that ticket availability would be an issue.
Just wait until people realise it costs £250 for a visa to Russia. The travelling hordes would fit in the back of Jonathan Jackson’s car!

Will you be travelling to russia in said car griff31 August 2013 at 1:52 pm #120275I’d say demand for the Belgium game would be pretty high. But having said that, Birmingham played there a few years against Club Brugge and took 7,000 fans.
Zulte won’t come to close to selling out a 30,000 seat stadium an hour away from their home ground of 10,000.
We could have as many tickets as we’d like.
So whilst demand will be high for Belgium, supply will be huge. Nobody who wants to go to Belgium will struggle for a ticket.

1 September 2013 at 12:39 pm #120301Tickets for Maribor will be in somewhat shorter supply – the ground holds about 13,000 & the usual allocation for visiting supporters is 694
I’d still have thought that would be enough to cope with demand like
