Not really, Callum Lang has completely lost his way he needs to seriously look at his attitude , he is offering nothing at the moment. General lack of discipline throughout the team is costing us. Massive improvement needed .
Decisions are not going our way at the moment and I think we were robbed in that Portsmouth game last week but I am starting to look at these players and ask are they really up to it. OK ,a soft penalty but it was in the ninth minute plenty of time to turn it around. Instead we get Lang , who has only himself to blame gets sent off and then it’s an uphill battle. They get a man sent out off and we still can’t really impose ourselves on the game. We need to go back to the drawing board , stop thinking the whole world is against us , start taking these games by the scruff of the neck and win the arm wrestle that most of these Division One games are.

I believe one thing and that its really understandable why Maloney was second choice to Toure. He is probably worse at the job than Toure. How that is possible who knows.
Get on the phone to Leam asap. He could probably rescue us again or someone else who could make a silk puse out of a pigs ear. Shaun is making a pigs ear out of a potential silk purse.We have the squad but we don’t have leadership, ok the officials are making awful decisions but Maloneys team selections and tactics aren’t helping matters, just look at the farce with the captaincy what a bloody joke that’s turned out to be.
Things won’t improve until Maloney is removed from office!

Here we go again, the manager merry-go-round is upon us again. I’m not sure he’s the right man but my thoughts ain’t gonna go down well on here but we have to stick with him.
I saw enough early doors to know there’s a decent side amoungst the squad and he can get it right which he proved early this season.
He just needs to stop p*ssing around with the ball at the back and start moving the ball quicker. He needs to stop thinking about the opposition and sort the backline out.I’m not sure why he changed things it’s like he started to tinker for the sake of it.
One big criticism,
We were promised we would utilize the youth system far far more but so far all’s I’ve seen is us bringing in young players from elsewere and give them the experience they need while ours are rarely used even for 5-10 minutes here and there.I personally won’t be calling for Maloney’s head just yet, I don’t think that would be the immediate solution right now and not just that, it’s a fookin expensive one as well something we paid the price with last season.
He just needs to get back to the early season form and style. If he doesn’t I’m sure the powers that be will have their arm forced and we’ll be looking for our forth manager in under 12months.
So stick with Maloney and get relegated to League 2, yeah that sounds like a good plan.
He won’t change his style of play or tactics if so he would have done it by now, only one way we are heading with SM……DOWN!

So we keep swapping managers and fork out millions in compensation for him and his staff?. You need to remember we nearly went bust wasting money were lucky just to be here.
Correct me if I’m wrong but we did that manager chopping sh1t last season and it played a big part in us getting relegated.
If you read what I said properly I don’t think we’ll go down if he tweaks our style of play, reverts back. It’s not like we started off sh1t and were still sh1t we beat 1st & 2nd favourites to win the league so we know it’s in the changing room.

Bollocks to sacking him. As stated by CW there’s a decent team there and he just needs selection consistency. No one can deny we’ve had some unbelievably chronic refereeing that saps the players during each game and constant swapping his 11 doesn’t build any positional relationships. What kind of reward is for a player (Godo) against Portsmouth does well and finds himself benched 3 days later??. This is league 1,not Champions League so stop over analysing the opposition and then tinkering. Knewif we lost spine of our team(Wyke, Smith, Hughes)we’d be f##### ,particularly midfield so losing 2 has a big impact . Shaw and Smith (When he returns) should be fixture and given time to bond.Up front a worry cos if he continually opts for Magennis as a back up then we are f@@@@@. At some point he really needs to take a gamble on Josh Stones cos this embargo means unless a striker available free or on loan in the window then he’s no options. Another international break where I always think Maloney can take a step back,rethink the tactics/selections/and style of play…….each return from the break nothing changes. Been on the expensive manager merry-go-round………didn’t work then…..
Although Barrow ain’t no Pep he needs to have a word in Maloney’s ear whether he likes it or not regarding the change of tactics and the mass subs.
It going to take Maloney to admit to himself it’s not working. My worse fear is if he loses the changing room. I don’t know of any manager who comes back from that.
Our opposition must look at our slow build up followed by a long ball from the half way line wide and think , That it !?.
As for Stones or Cze? I’m not sure why we bother. All this promise and they rarely make the bench, it’s funny we’ve not loaned them out. They need to be used as subs just to inject some energy when things are lacking.
I see alot of Martinez’s stubbornness in Maloney so I’m not hopeful he can but to be honest he has to regardless because right now I see nothing
Maloney needs to take a different direction orShaun Maloney is going NOWHERE .., deservedly and quite rightly so ..along with Leam , he has taken on a very unenviable task ..money .. no way .. Celtic, Villa , us in the Prem , Belgium ! Probably wouldn’t have to lift a finger again .. but . BUT , he has chosen to try his hand at management .. to try and rebuild a disastrous time in our Clubs history .can’t imagine he gets 35/40 hours sleep a week !
