Quite frankly the quality would put `instore` to shame!

Poor effort, isn’t it?

11 August 2010 at 12:45 am #42010As i have said in a previous post its something Rochdale or Bury would have had ten years ago shoddy springs to mind :o

exactly awful material for the second season in a row :o [/quote]The patricks kits were done on the cheap, the JJB kits were done on the cheap, the Vandanel kits were done on the cheap, and now the mifit kits are done on the cheap.
If having your own brand is so profitable then why do the like of Crystal Palace (skint) to name just one, have Nike?
11 August 2010 at 1:03 am #42017Ive bought and wore many truly crappy Latics shirts over the years even when I hated the damned awful designs, but in my case i gladly paid the asking price for 2 reasons
1 The Badge
2 The name WIGAN ATHLETIC FC
Both of the above made the shirts wearable with pride wherever I was either home or abroad no matter how bad the thing looked.

Buy a polo shirt with the crest on for £20 instead then.
Nobody with any sense would pay £40 for that awful kit.
11 August 2010 at 2:26 am #42026I saw a bloke in one in Chorley Tesco tonight, and have to agree it looked cheap and nasty.
I don’t have too much of a problem with the design, but the material and the fit looked awful.
I will have a close look at the away kit if we ever release one, but wii probably plump for a polo or ‘T’ shirt.11 August 2010 at 10:41 am #42030I saw a bloke in one in Chorley Tesco tonight, and have to agree it looked cheap and nasty.

The design and colour look good, but I trust the quality of fabric and the cut will be as shabby as the home kit.
Thanks for the link, but as you say I reckon a Polo shirt will be the best option.11 August 2010 at 1:36 pm #42038Do the powers that be know that lots of people are not happy about the quality of the shirt ? Has anybody brought this to their attention and if so do they plan on sorting the problem out etc etc etc ! Its ok moaning on here about it and sharing ones dissatisfaction but surely the club should be informed !
11 August 2010 at 1:42 pm #42040Maybe someone should call trading standards???
Or just not buy it….
