Well there is a question.
Before Dave took us over when he followed Rovers and The Egg Cuckoos were we in a stronger position than now? We had some debt and we may have now despite eight seasons in the greed league and parachute payments for the last two seasons. We owned our own stadium before but now one minute we think the DW is ours and the next we are tenants just like the Cuckoos.League wise we are looking at being one above whenDave took over so where are we after an incredible journey, heading back to where we where or miles ahead from there?
Is it now time for some vociferous protests asking for answers or do we just lay back and let the powers that be do what they want with mine and yours club?But for Whelan we would have been out of business in the early ninetys. Surely the stadium has always been owned by Whelan, or his fund/company, with both Latics and egg chasers tenants. It would be stupid to have the ground owned by either team…the financial risks are way too high.
