As we walked own to the Tube station to Harrow there were some real hard boys trying to antagonise families of Wiganers. I honestly think Milwall were better fans
The ones in our carriage on the tube back to Baker St were fine. There was a sense of relief that they’d scraped home, but that even a cup win would be just papering over the cracks. Quite subdued really, especially with Everton winning putting 4th place at risk. Not quite Arsene out vitriol, but time for a change. No anti Wigan stuff at all.
Saw a few handbags being thrown on the car park after the gameI saw that, I think it was mainly down to one pissed up Wiganer, everyone else was trying to get him away rather than joining in.
The Arsenal fan landed a good one which knocked him off his feet, then he ran off like a girl with said Wiganer dazed but in chase. We just got on our coach laughing at it.It works both ways, there was a bit of a scuffle on wembley way that left one whining gooner with a thick lip. There was a few wigan fans near us that were ready for kicking off with each other in the second half. And had to laugh at the half time beer throwing competition in the concourse.. No chance of me joining in at them prices…

From what I could gather I think it was do with standing up and their kids couldn’t see.
I know it’s not the point, but there were plenty of seats nearby they could have moved to.
We were lucky, the gang behind us never sat down all match, so when we stood up it didn’t matter.On the way down we stopped off at the last services on the M1. As we went in a bobby said “Hope you win this afternoon”. I said “Are you a Spurs fan then?” He said “No I’m an Arsenal fan but I just want Wenger out. Hope you win 6-0”. Pity we could’nt oblige

Well yes, we were in block 111 right at the back with the 10 ft wall behind us and club wembley seats above us now apparently they shoulddn’t wear colours and are not to abuse or provoke opposing fans or they can have their membership took off them, we got the lot after their goal went in, and after the penalties even more so, now I’m placid but if I could have been spiderman I would have been up that wall and banged a few heads together so I call that being provoked, so now they are trying to locate these individuals and find who sold them the tickets but money talks and nothing will get done.Other fans on our coach had other problems aswell, all they had to do was be gracious in winning and no problem .
