      Yep seen it elsewhere.

But NRP, and anybody who agrees with him, will simply be seen as defeatist, naive idiots by those of a ‘dark’ persuasion.

It seems that some people always want us to be seen as little Wigan upsetting the odds. There are now smaller teams than us and plenty of teams that outsiders see us as a better team than. The truth is we arnt the same club or team anymore the little Wigan who got into the Prem was full of British players who cared about the club and fans and were happy to spend time with us. The same cant be said for this current crop (and to some extent manager)
Also I dont think that the fans expect us to be better then we are but we hope to improve season upon season and over the past 18 months this simply hasnt happened.

I don’t think in the current climate we’ll ever be able to feel we can make a difference by being together as a set of fans (not to say that we shouldn’t stick together). I just think its wishful thinking that we all turn up, cheer and anything will change. The players are not like the one’s we arrived here with, they feel more like strangers and they have an obligation to bond with the fans too.

I know you’re saying if we stick together it makes a better experience for everyone no matter what the outcome of matches but life just isn’t like that. There are people who whinge too much and people who are outright positive.

I’d hope Bob and the players have some pride and want to show passion regardless of booing, infighting, and half furled banners. Even though ultimately in my opinion i don’t think Bobs the right man in the long term, i’ll keep cheering the team on.
