Fielded a changed side for a major FA cup tie because they are sh”t scared of losing their PL status in my view.
I always thought that winning trophies and playing at Wembley in finals was the whole idea of football but it seems that is dead now.
Time to pack up i think!Gordon Strachan hit the nail on the head before last nights game when he said the Prem and CL was eating up all the other competitions.
Its all very boring.
I think that too, I hate how the FA cup is going. You always hear of people saying when i was a lad my dream was scoring in the FA cup final, its nothing like that any more its not taken seriously at all. Such a shame
I think kids dreams now consist of “i want to earn 100 grand a week and get off with a z list celeb” rather tha playing at wembley in a cup final.
All very sad but the clubs need to take note -the empty seats are not just confined to Latics anymore and they are growing.
Disrespect to age old competions is the first step on a very slippery slope -Aston Villa fans are very annoyed about this make no mistake.
Football is playing a very very dangerous game at this level.
Is relegation for the fans such a disaster if this is how the game is going at this level.
I think not.
