What a result…….!..Backs against the wall but staggering defending and praise to Caldwell who has been immense in the last few games………The fat lady has got larangytis..There was no backs against the wall performance today from were I was sitting. We more than matched Liverpool keeping them in the main to shots from outside the box. Apart from the 10 mins after they scored we never looked like conceding. When the final whistle blew we were in possession 30 yards from the Liverpool goal. My Liverpool season ticket holding mate not for the first time said we looked like one of the better teams to visit Anfield.
Great performance and great win orchestrated by arguably the best young manager in Europe.[according to some folk]
