How bad was that performance.
I was absolutely gutted to see how bad our defence / mid field / forwards performed today.
I have followed for latics for 14 years and I must say Tottenham were phenomenal today.
Edmand although out of place for a lot of the goals , did not get any help at all on the left where most of the attacks came from.
I thought we wr playing 4-5-1, so wr was our 5 mid fielders stopping the flow of the ball?Hope this really is the lowest point we can reach because if it aint, I fear for the crowd exodus at the DW will be quicker than sand through an egg timer.
Come on people, lets put this behind us and get on with it.

Hammered 4-1 against Blackpool , 4-0 against Arsenal and Portsmouth respectively and hammered 5-0 against Man Utd and now 9-1 against Spurs ! Well I am sorry but I dont care what anyone says we are in big trouble. Ok Man Utd Arsenal and Spurs are quality sides but to roll over in the fashion we have is a joke ! Add to that the substandard quality of Blackpool and Portsmouth and it puts things into perspective. We cant keep harping on about beating Villa and Chelsea. We have no strikers and a minus 17 goal diff now try and tell me that we are not heading for the relegation zone rapidly !
Well we’ll get a new striker in January there’s nothing we can do until then.

Not sure about the Poles but I certainly wouldn’t like to see the same XI trotting out next week.
I can’t offer suggestions as to who should make way from today’s perfomance because I wasn’t there but something has to give otherwise these XI will think they have carte banche to drift through the rest of the season.
Can’t believe Sinclair didn’t get a sniff again today. The game well and truley dead and buried he could have given the boy 30 mins. I really thing Chelski have hinted that they are going to recall him back in january due to the African Nations cup thinggy.
