      5434. Now then, THAT would be a winning formation. A solid 5 at the back, a good defensive cordon of 4 in front of them, and 3 attackling midfielders. Only issue I can see is that we don’t have 4 half-decent strikers :(

          You’d like to think it would at least bring the midfield closer to the attack.

            Or the opportunity for more short passes to be made in our own half.

            We could also have three players ready to accept a short corner.

                There was a play in the Superbowl on Sunday when the Patriots had 12 players on the pitch. They did get penalised though.
